TMD’s ‘can do’ attitude continues to supply the growing Agilico workforce

Earlier this year, the DMC Canotec Group of companies united to become Agilico. Serving more than 11,000 customers nationwide, Agilico utilises state of the art workplace technologies to deliver operational efficiencies across four key areas of work: managed print services, information management, agile working technology, telecom systems and IT services.

The Agilico HQ in Southampton is supported by a network of regional offices across the UK and employs a workforce of more than 300 people.

TMD has provided Agilico with a secure online e-store account that enables instant, real time visibility of approved uniform items per job role. This enables orders to be raised both by individual employees and the central HR team.

Russell Cole, adds: “When we formed Agilico we needed to provide the whole workforce with new, branded apparel. To enable this process to be conducted quickly and efficiently, TMD created an online portal so individual employees could view their uniform allocation in terms of garments and available sizes. Employees selected requested items. This information was then fed into a central database so that a single order could be placed. Items were then delivered direct to the homes of employees/to regional offices where they could be collected by the relevant individual employees. The whole process worked incredibly well and enabled us to kit out our whole staff team in a matter of weeks.

“On a day to day basis, employees who need to replace individual uniform items place an online request to central HR and that item is ordered. There is no minimum order which means every request is actioned immediately to ensure a swift resolution. Custom-branded items, such as polo shirts and soft shell jackets, are turned around in about a week and non-branded items such as trousers usually arrive within a day or two.
