We are now ISO 14001 accredited

ISO 14001 TMD 01

We’re delighted to announce that TMD are now ISO 14001 accredited! This global sustainability standard proves we are serious about our environmental impact.

“This ISO14001 accreditation is a massive milestone for us – I’m so proud of everybody who has been working hard behind the scenes on our application,” says Ed Taylor, MD of Taylor Made Designs. “ISO14001 accreditation can take years to achieve.”

Our application began back in January 2024. We have had to demonstrate everything we’re currently doing on sustainability. We also had to share our sustainability plans for the future.

“Sustainability is not just an afterthought for us; it’s truly at the very heart of what we do,” says Jake Harvey, Operations Director. “ISO14001 validates our efforts – it proves to the outside world that we really are working in a sustainable manner.”

Over the years, we have taken big steps as a business to cut waste and carbon emissions. We provide carbon-offset deliveries to all UK addresses. Every order is shipped in recyclable cardboard boxes with paper packing tape and recyclable document wallets. We also offer an end-of-use uniform recycling service. Looking to the future, we have  plans to provide more sustainable uniform solutions to our clients. For instance, textiles can now be made from marine litter, ocean-bound plastic and recycled cotton.

“This new accreditation is proof that, as a business, we practice what we preach,” says James Taylor, Global Sales Director of Taylor Made Designs. “it’s one thing to describe yourself as environmentally friendly; it’s another to build a business that is genuinely sustainable. We’re really, really proud of what we’ve achieved with this accreditation.”
