KUONI CASE STUDY

THE CHALLENGE

Kuoni came to us wanting to completely re-design uniform worn by their retail staff. There was a very definite brief to work with; keeping the luxury feel of the brand was extremely important along with the comfort of the wearer but they wanted something a little different from what they had had before, something less corporate. The sourcing of ‘an extra touch’ was also mooted in our initial meeting but for that we would have to surprise them.

OUR SOLUTION

We are fortunate to have an in-house designer who came along to the briefing meeting with KUONI and got a feel for the company ethos and a greater understanding of what they were looking for. Working together with the account manager they came up with several design schemes, translated them onto mood boards with a mix of off the shelf and bespoke garments. The extra special touch came in the form of embroidered travel blankets and complimentary candles with the KUONI signature scent to remind their clients of a fantastic holiday. We have a speciality candle maker who can do this for us; they also manufacture scented paint which we are thinking of trying in the office.
